Barrister: Alex Burrell

Alex Burrell commenced pupillage at 1 Gray’s Inn Square in October 2016.

Prior to commencing pupillage Alex spent 2 years working as a County Court Advocate appearing daily in County Courts, the Royal Courts of Justice and in the Bankruptcy and Companies Court.

Alex also worked for 2 years as an advocate in the War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation Tribunal, taking instructions on a pro-bono basis from the Royal British Legion, where he represented former and serving Armed Forces personnel in claims for compensation against the Ministry of Defence. These cases included a wide range of injury claims, from hearing loss to osteoarthritis to post-traumatic stress disorder.
