Criminal Barristers
Chambers has a long-established reputation for providing first rate advocacy across the full range of the criminal spectrum. From homicide to road traffic offences, we guarantee a first rate service to both lay and professional clients. We recognise that no case is trivial to the client. Therefore, our substantial team of criminal barristers ensure that every client receives the personal and professional care and attention he or she would desire.
Members of Chambers both defend and prosecute at all levels, from the Magistrates Court to the Supreme Court, whether as leading counsel, led juniors or alone. Chambers also offers particular expertise in applications to the Administrative Court (whether for judicial review or by way of case stated) and in a host of quasi-criminal proceedings such as prison adjudications and applications for anti-social behaviour and other banning orders.
While members of Chambers appear all over the country, much of our work is, inevitably, London-based. Therefore, members have a wealth of experience of dealing with urban crime such as burglary and street robbery, cash in transit robbery, Class A drug trafficking, proceeds of crime, knives and firearms, fraud and serious violence. At the other end of the scale, we have barristers well-versed in the intricacies of road traffic law, including those who also sit as parking and congestion charge adjudicators.
Chambers continues to receive instructions from numerous highly regarded firms of defence solicitors, the CPS and other prosecuting authorities. Since April 2010 we are delighted to be able to accept instructions via Direct Access.
As part of our client-focussed service, our barristers can be contacted out of normal office hours for urgent overnight/weekend advice and assistance via the clerks out of hours number. If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact our dedicated clerking team either by email or on the numbers provided.
