Dee has experience in both individual and collective tribunal work and defending and bringing unfair dismissal claims. She is instructed by individuals and employers to appear at CMDs, preliminary and final hearings. She has a particular interest in discrimination law and has experience of complex discrimination claims. During pupillage, Dee was successful in recovering substantial compensation on behalf of four British workers made redundant after training Polish workers. The case was a widely reported unfair dismissal and race discrimination claim and was the first of its kind in the UK triggering interest from Unions nationwide.
Personal Injury
Dee has significant experience acting for both Claimants and Defendants in fast track trials, applications and disposal hearings. Dee also regularly advises on issues of liability and quantum, and the drafting of statements in a case.
Immigration
Dee has built up experience in a range of Immigration matters and is regularly instructed to appear before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal in Bail applications, Deportation, Entry clearance, and Human Rights cases. She has appeared before the High Court in a Judicial Review application [Human Rights case]
Credit Hire
Dee has extensive experience in Credit Hire Litigation and Road Traffic cases and is regularly instructed by Claimants and Defendants in trials comprising high value claims.
Dee can now accept instructions via the Direct Public Access scheme.
